November 6, 2025

At Corinthian Events, creativity thrives on collaboration—and Mikayla Mushlin embodies that spirit. With a background in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management, she brings both organization and imagination to every project she touches. A former competitive volleyball player with a natural drive for teamwork, Mikayla channels her energy into crafting experiences that feel effortless, personal, and unforgettable. Whether she’s brainstorming new concepts or lending a steady hand on-site, her enthusiasm and attention to detail shine through. Outside the office, you’ll likely find her running along the Charles, experimenting in the kitchen, or exploring Boston’s food scene with her golden doodle, Teddy Fenway, by her side.

Q: Did you always see yourself working in hospitality? Did you have any other dream jobs growing up?

A: Not at all! I first wanted to be a veterinarian because I love animals, but I realized that wasn’t for me. I even tried Criminal Justice since my uncle is a SWAT captain in Cambridge, MA, but that wasn’t for me either.

Discovering Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management at Indiana University was a perfect fit. I love the creativity, hands-on work, and that no two days are the same. It’s all about unique ideas, organization, and bringing experiences to life.

Q: What educational or work experiences led you to want to work in events?

A: I interned in food and beverage at The Brookline Country Club and with a global DMC, which gave me a behind-the-scenes look at how events come together. I loved being part of the action and seeing the detail involved in making everything run smoothly.

What I love most about this industry is its creativity and people-focus. You’re constantly collaborating, bringing new ideas to life, and making things happen. It’s fast-paced, fun, and rewarding to create moments people remember forever.

Q: What is something people might not know about you?

A: I played competitive volleyball and was recruited to play at the college level. I also have a golden doodle named Teddy Fenway after Fenway Park!

Q: Where do you think you can see the best view of Boston?

A: I love Fan Pier Park in the Seaport District. It is right on the water and has the prettiest view of the city, especially at sunset. Whether I am up above or walking along the harbor, it always reminds me why I love living in Boston.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Boston?

A: My all-time favorite dinner spot is Lab 13 in Chestnut Hill. It is a handroll sushi place that is seriously to die for. I have also been loving Blank Street Coffee on Newbury Street in Boston; their lattes are amazing!

Q: What is your dream event or destination activity you would want to execute for a client?

A: A magical winter event in Switzerland! Snowy mountains, cozy alpine charm, an outdoor ice-skating rink, twinkling lights, warm drinks, and elegant touches to create an unforgettable winter wonderland.

Q: Outside of work hours, what is something you enjoy doing?

A: Cooking, baking, running, and spending time with friends. These activities keep me balanced and energized, whether I’m trying a new recipe, catching up with friends, or getting in a good run.

Q: What is most exciting to you about joining the team at Corinthian Events?

A: Corinthian Events stood out for its creativity and attention to detail. They produce unique, high-quality events; the exact environment I was looking for.

I thrive in collaborative settings and admire how CE values innovation and teamwork. I’m excited to learn from such a talented team and grow within a respected company that pushes boundaries and creates unforgettable experiences. Being part of that is truly inspiring.
