Booked, Busy, and Building Knowledge: Our Q2 Recap
Booked, Busy, and Building Knowledge: Our Q2 Recap
This quarter was all about momentum for the Corinthian Events team. With more than 60 events across New England and beyond, our team was moving fast and creating incredible experiences. From nonprofit galas and commencements to multi-city meetings and team-building adventures, we were rarely at our desks, embracing the return of warm weather.
And just because summer was heating up in New England doesn’t mean we weren’t traveling, making stops in NYC, St. Louis, Toronto, and more. Jill and Courtney made our longest journey yet, traveling to Dubai for the annual DMC Network Exchange. It’s hard to sum up our busiest quarter of the year, but here are the highlights from a triumphant April, May, and June!
We continued to foster our hotel partnerships this quarter. For the third year, we partnered with Accor to produce their spring networking reception at Raffles Boston. We also teamed up with Fairmont Copley Plaza to launch three new signature cocktails at the OAK Long Bar.
Meetings brought us coast to coast, from a healthcare summit in Miami to a roadshow ending in Austin. We also executed meetings in Boston, Newport, and NYC along the way.

The CE team produced our annual galas, returning to favorite venues like the JFK Library and Museum. A number of these were nonprofit events, which are always a highlight, allowing us to flex our creativity while helping clients raise funds for incredible causes.
Even amid the hustle, the team carved out time for learning, networking, and staying on top of industry trends. We proudly represented CE at five major conferences, bringing back fresh insights to share with the team.
Jamie attended the
FICP Education Forum in South Carolina and returned with notes on accessible meeting design, agenda pacing, and her new favorite term:
frolleagues (friends who are colleagues). Speaker
Kyle Scheele made a lasting impression, outlining how to better support your ideas and emphasizing that creativity is a team sport.
Alyson attended PCMA EduCon in Louisville, where a breakout on performance psychology hosted by Meet Boston at the Louisville Slugger Museum was a standout moment. She also returned to Boston with her very own Derby hat, courtesy of an opening reception at Churchill Downs. Meanwhile, Jessica and Colby traveled to MPI WEC in St. Louis, where the conference wrapped with a block party in the St. Louis Arts District, featuring local art, cuisine, and a headline performance from Nelly!
Jill and Courtney ventured to Dubai for the annual DMC Network Exchange, experiencing incredible hospitality and unforgettable activities. Highlights include riding the world’s fastest rollercoaster and visiting one of world’s largest mosques in Abu Dhabi. The biggest takeaway? The power of being connected to a network of the best DMCs around the globe.

Our “All Hand’s on Deck” moment (although there were many of these) was a 4-day corporate offsite meeting in Newport. With over 14 staff operating activities and evening events over the program, the success of this event was extremely well-deserved!
And with that, there is not much else to say other than bring on the rest of the year!
