We’re hiring! Senior Event Manager – Newport, RI

Corinthian Events is seeking a Senior Event Manager to join our Newport, RI office. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and is passionate about producing exceptional events from concept through execution.

As a Senior Event Manager, you will lead the planning and production of complex programs while managing client relationships, vendors, and internal teams. You’ll play a key role in shaping event strategy, mentoring team members, and delivering standout experiences.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in hospitality or event production

• Direct DMC (Destination Management Company) experience required

• Strong production knowledge (AV, lighting, tenting, logistics, etc.) preferred 

• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale programs simultaneously

• Exceptional client service and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with the Newport, RI market and vendor landscape

• Industry certifications (DMCP, CMP, CSEP, CMM)

This role offers the opportunity to fully own programs from initial inquiry through final billing, with no separation between sales and operations—giving you true end-to-end ownership.
