Milestones & Miles Flown: Our Q1 Recap
It’s been a whirlwind start to the year here at Corinthian Events! From hitting milestones to executing events around the globe, our team has been in full force since January.
With the first quarter of 2025 behind us and the busy season ahead, we’re taking a moment to share what we’ve been up to and what we’ve accomplished. Get ready to keep up with Corinthian Events!
We kicked off the year strong, producing a wide range of events over the past three months. Meetings filled our schedules and kept us traveling, while we also delivered some of our signature nonprofit and special events. January began with an incentive cruise, uncharted waters for our team, and we even managed to squeeze in one last holiday party.
While we pride ourselves on being local, New England experts, we love traveling alongside our clients. By February, the CE team had already touched down in Miami, Los Angeles, Cabo, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman.
Back home in Boston, we brought one of our longest-running events to life, the Big Night Gala for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts. This year’s theme transformed the House of Blues into the vibrant streets of New Orleans’ French Quarter, complete with florals, brass instruments, and umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. Guests danced, mingled, and celebrated a powerful cause. This “all hands on deck” event was expertly led by Dawn Lyons and Colby Wilkens.
March was also a milestone month! On March 1st, we celebrated 25 years of Corinthian Events. We have been overwhelmed with the love and support received from our clients, partners, and team. It has been incredible to reflect on the past two and a half decades and how far we’ve come, surrounded by the people who helped get us there.
Just a few days earlier, our team traveled to Arlington, Texas for the 2025 Association of Destination Management Executives International -- ADMEI Annual Conference. As a member of ADMEI, this is a must-attend on our calendars each year. With session topics covering everything from multi-generational workforces to meeting people where they’re at in terms of energy and expectations, this year’s conference was a great way to reassess our own practices and learn from others in our industry.
A standout moment was Keynote speaker Courtney Stanley live podcast recording of Dare to Interrupt, which you can listen to here: Working Moms, Battling Burnout and What We’d Tell Our Younger Selves. We ended the conference with a proud and emotional moment, as Jill Tate, DMCP received the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by our very own Jamie Hellesen, DMCP . It was a truly special and well-deserved honor.
As March came to a close, we were still going strong. Highlights included a St. Patrick’s Day celebration for The Ireland Funds led by Alyson Morgan and an annual awards gala at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza led by Hannah Goddard.
The first quarter flew by, and the pace is only picking up from here. We are excited to welcome warmer weather and execute more memorable events across our beloved coastal New England destinations. Stay tuned, there’s so much more to come in months ahead!
