Katelyn Petrillo
Director
Katelyn Petrillo brings nearly 17 years of experience in the special events industry, with a strong operational foundation and a specialization in event design and production. Her experience spans social events, corporate and association meetings, and high-end incentive travel programs, where she is known for thoughtful execution, strategic leadership, and creative problem-solving.
Katelyn’s leadership and contributions to the industry have been recognized. In 2019, she was named one of Special Events Magazine’s “Young Event Pros to Watch” and was honored by Hosts Global for outstanding leadership and commitment. In 2024, she was a co-recipient of the the ADMEI Joanne O’Connor President’s Award in recognition of her impactful service to the ADMEI Board as Co-Director of Education.
Deeply committed to professional development within the DMC and events industry, Katelyn has served on the ADMEI Executive Board, as Co-Chair of the Education Committee, as Chair of the Conference Committee, and Co-Chair of the membership Committee helping advance education and growth opportunities for industry peers.
Katelyn holds the Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP), Certified Professional of Catering and Events (CPCE), and Emergency Preparedness Certified Professional (EPCP) certifications. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston College, Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences.
Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys spending time with her family. She loves cooking, tackling creative DIY and craft projects, and tending to her small (and ever-growing) houseplant obsession. An avid gardener, Katelyn also enjoys growing and arranging flowers, bringing the same creativity and attention to detail she applies to her events into her home life.
