Corinthian Events is a full-service event planning company that serves clients throughout New England and beyond. We are one of the few firms in this industry that has in-house Registration & Technology and Creative Design & Branding departments. Our Technology and Creative departments work hand in hand on almost all projects, and we are looking to add the special role of Brand & Technology Operations Assistant to that team. The Operations Assistant works toward ensuring a smooth business environment with a focus on optimizing the internal use of different technologies, programs, and templates. This position requires the identification of operational opportunities and solutions to improve our processes.

Operations Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Support the Technology & Creative departments by performing basic administrative tasks and assisting on projects as needed.
  • Help build customizable internal templates we can use for multiple purposes, including proposals, spreadsheets, letterhead, presentations, name badges, email signatures, etc.
  • Coordinate with team members to curate content for use in various internal and external creative projects.
  • Assist in updating and procuring our tariff and proposal content.
  • Conduct and document market research on latest trends in changing consumer tastes.
  • Execute brand assistant functions to increase market share for company services.
  • Ensure compliance of company standards, practices, and protocols in the internal use of our templates, technologies, and brand.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with different departments to improve performance and work efficiency.
  • Managing all internal technology, i.e., laptops, iPads, etc.

Operations Assistant Requirements:

  • Aptitude for technology.
  • Ability to learn new programs and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communicative skills.
  • Analytical skills to sift through data and information.
  • An interest in the operations side / helping to develop new systems to improve efficiency.
  • 4-year college degree.
  • Proficiency in the entire Microsoft Suite; especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is a plus but not required.
  • Event background a plus.
  • Creative copywriting skills a plus.
  • Knowledge of File Maker a plus.
  • Knowledge/experience with Adobe Creative Suite a huge plus (please highlight if this is you!)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
