Each year, we work with the ALS Therapy Development Institute for their annual "White Coat Affair" – a celebration of the hard work and successes the team has experienced throughout the year helping patients cope with a very difficult disease.
This year's edition of the event was held at the Renaissance Hotel in Boston's Seaport District, with a new look focusing on adding to the venue's elegance with white décor and grey, silver and gold accents.
Being in a new venue it was all about creating a new flow and utilizing the space to best fit the goals and needs of the group. We worked with the team to design the scaled floor plan of the entire 3rd floor, ensuring that we were allowing for space to accommodate the VIP guests in wheelchairs.
From a vendor perspective we worked to maximize the space in the ballroom by pushing the screens back against the wall as far as they would go and utilizing front projection from truss towers over the door frames. We left space on the floor plan for ground supported lighting towers along with space for tech and the camera operator. All details that need to be given space before determining the max capacity in the room.
Guests had a wonderful evening and the team met their goals for 2018! Another successful celebration for our friends at ALS-TDI!
