Whether corporate or social, Corinthian Events can design a custom New England experience for even the most discerning and well-travelled guests!

This July, we had the opportunity to plan a tailored 8-day tour for a special group of 25 adults of the northeast, starting right here in Boston! To start things off right the first evening and give them a good feel of the city, we charted a private trolley to take them to a traditional Italian dinner in the North End at the Famed Mamma Maria. Then, after a free day to explore the city on their own, they were treated on the 4th of July to a privately chartered Riverboat to have prime viewing of the Fireworks. This evening was also special because one of the guests had recently become a US citizen, so we celebrated with a custom cake from Party Favors.

The next day, guests headed north and got to experience all of the great food and shopping around Kennebunkport, Maine before feasting in a classic New England Clambake. The best way to cap off their night? At Suffolk Downs for a Cirque do Soleil show, of course!

But in order to fully experience New England, one must visit both north AND south of Boston. So the group headed down to Newport, RI with a stop at a local vineyard for wine tasting and lunch along the way. From private 12-meter boat sails to guided bike rides, to mansion viewing and touring the oldest synagogue in America, Newport showed us an incredible time. And as a special surprise, the group was treated to a concert in a private box at the Doobie Brothers & Steely Dan show playing that weekend at the Xfinity Center!

After a whirlwind weekend in Newport, Boston welcomed the group back with open arms and a touring Broadway Show. Aladdin thrilled the group in an amazing performance with flying carpets, countless costume changes and extremely talented stars. On the group's final day in Boston, they had the special experience of a private tour of the USS Constitution for a private tour followed by an insider's tour of Harvard University. For a fun twist to the day, they then feasted on Dim Sum in Chinatown!

Nothing says Boston in the summer than a visit to legendary Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox where the group took in a game as their final evening activity, and the Red Sox did not disappoint! And as a final farewell, the group took a late-night trip to grab cannoli's in the North End before the group departed the next morning.

We were lucky to share this special week with some fabulous guests and had a ball planning this custom experience for them!

Lastly, as a follow up to our blog a couple weeks ago on August 15th, we had asked a question to our blog readers, "What is your ideal dining table shape?". After tallying up all the votes we finally have the results! Dining at a circle shaped table is the crowd favorite. Thank you for participating in our survey!
