What is a better way to experience Boston than over-looking the city from across the harbor at the John F. Kennedy Library? For 400 out-of-towners staying at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, their presidential experience began with an elaborate police escort, whisking them in record time during rush hour from the center of Boston to I.M. Pei's stunning museum.

In authentic celebrity style, guests were met at the Library by the wafting sounds of a bagpiper and an expansive red carpet complete with a photographer. After watching the library's historical film on the life of JFK and exploring the exhibits, guests were welcomed into the Pavilion for cocktails with a view.

Once it was time for dinner, they ventured upstairs to Smith Hall for a three course dinner at tables set with custom menu cards and vibrant florals. Following dessert and coffee, the finale to this stylish evening was a live acoustic performance by Garry Morris.

It was an evening fit for the president himself!
