Last month Corinthian executed a "dine around" within the Rose Kennedy Ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel. One space, 300 guests, 6 restaurants and a team of creative minds made for a one-of-a-kind event.
With Partner Courtney Church, Director Elizabeth Trofatter, Senior Account Manager Megan Woonton, and Production Assistant Victoria Pache, this event was aimed for success. The client's goal was to give their guests the best of the best—not just one great restaurant but six, and Corinthian Events took on the challenge and amazed the crowd.
Not only was the food brought in by these top chefs and their restaurant teams, but Corinthian Events brought the design of each restaurant into the room as well.
We started with images of what makes each restaurant unique and aimed to bring those pieces into the room.
For Blue Dragon it was the long wooden high-top tables and bar-stools, floral touches, and of course the blue neon sign. We were able to bring in all three! The specialty lighting sealed the deal on this one.
(Restaurant Image)We brought Mistral to the Intercontinental Hotel with their chic long yellow curtains, tall topiaries, small intimate table settings, and the iconic wrought iron sign. Chandeliers, napkins, votives, and pepper grinders also matched what can be found in this South End restaurant.
(Restaurant Image)Sushi Teq was designed with colorful neon up lighting and blue-cushioned high-top seats echoing the look of the restaurant. We added tables with under lighting to bring out the color scheme of the restaurant, and used creative bamboo centerpieces to complete the look!
(Restaurant Image)The showpiece at The Butcher Shop is its butcher block island, hosting a selection of house antipasti and freshly baked loaves of bread. We re-created this "station" complete with signage and brown paper menu roll to perfectly match the restaurant's originals.
(Restaurant Image)To replicate the Island Creek Oyster Bar our team brought in a modern coastal feel of the Kenmore restaurant. Along with their oyster boat, we also designed the space with an amazing oyster shell chandelier.
(Restaurant Image)Contemporary-styled South End spot, SRV, included touches of bold colors, velvet booth seating, hanging air plant wall, and a blue entryway table.
(Restaurant Image)Overall, it was a great success! The client loved the detail our team put into making each restaurant its own space and guests enjoyed incredible dishes served at each.
