When executing an event outside of your home city, planning for the arrival of all the necessary pieces can be daunting. Thankfully, many hotels and convention centers are able to help by receiving your packages ahead of the program if you coordinate with them with enough lead time.

But, keep in mind that once your event is over, you also want a clear plan for what will happen with all those items. Without proper planning, the return shipment of important resources can be a bit overwhelming. It is helpful to make sure you have enough staff, proper packing materials, shipping labels and a solid plan of how the items will be shipped ahead of time. That way, when you are sleep deprived and trying to quickly pack up to catch your flight home, you're not running around to make it happen!
